What is Tablize
A Data Agent that lives on your data — ask anything in plain English, keep the answers that matter.
Tablize is a Data Agent. Think of it as a data analyst who never sleeps, never forgets a previous answer, and works on any data you point at it — a spreadsheet, a Postgres database, a Shopify store, a warehouse full of sensors.
You don’t open Tablize to build a dashboard. You open it to ask a question. The dashboard, if you end up wanting one, is a side effect of a good answer.
The three-beat loop
Every Tablize session follows the same three beats. It doesn’t matter if you’re analyzing a CSV, debugging a funnel, rerunning a client script, or watching a warehouse.
The loop is short on purpose. Most AI data tools stop at step 2 — they give you an answer and forget it. Tablize treats step 3 as the whole point: every answer can become an asset, and good assets keep working while you sleep.
The Agent is the product
Tablize isn’t a chatbot bolted onto a BI tool. The Agent is the control plane. It decides which tool to call — SQL, Python, a watch, an app — based on what you asked. You don’t pick the tool; the question picks the tool.
That’s why the UI looks like a chat and not like Tableau. You type the question you’d ask a junior analyst. The Agent does the plumbing. You see the plumbing if you want to — every tool call is inspectable and editable — but you don’t have to.
What you get back is not just the answer but also the code that produced it. If you like the answer, the Save as Script button turns that code into something you can rerun on next week’s data, or fork for the next client.
Who this is for
Tablize is built first for individuals and small teams — the people who have data but don’t have a data team.
- Independent developers who ship SaaS and want to know why yesterday looked weird.
- Small e-commerce operators whose data is scattered across Shopify, Stripe, and a hundred ad platforms.
- Freelance analysts and consultants who do roughly the same analysis for twelve different clients.
- Hardware makers and small factories who have sensors streaming and no monitoring platform.
- Founders of 3–5 person startups who want to see everything but can’t hire a BI person.
Bigger teams can scale up the same primitives — the Max plan adds federation across workspaces and priority compute — but the product is designed so a solo operator is never a second-class citizen.
What Tablize isn’t
Setting expectations is as important as setting the pitch.
- Not a dashboard tool first. Dashboards exist, but only as a way to keep an answer you already got.
- Not a notebook. You’re not writing the SQL; you’re asking the question. The SQL is a receipt.
- Not a workflow builder. You don’t diagram steps. The Agent picks steps based on the goal.
- Not a BI replacement at Fortune-500 scale. It’s a replacement at your-team-of-5 scale — and it grows up from there.
